Having Problems Facing your Body?

Be honest, if what you see or how you feel are negative statements, then it is time to address yourself.    Unfortunately, there are many people who are unhappy about their outer appearance in one way or another.  It often begins when we are young as told to us from others who look for perfection and demand that we look a certain way.  Not to mention the diet fads, pills, and hour glass shaped Barbies continuously thrown at all females.  

My eight year old granddaughter was overheard by her mother as she commented to her younger sister that she was on a diet because she was too fat.  It is totally amazing how far we allow the perception of others to affect our choices.  I believe it is time for change.  Don’t beat yourself up for anyone else.  

Now, what I said earlier about having negative thoughts or statements when you look at yourself in the mirror and that being an indicator that it is time to address yourself, I meant just that.  It is time to address YOURSELF not anyone else.  If you wish to change yourself, then do it for YOUR reasons.  If you want to change your hairstyle, your make-up, improve your posture, straighten your teeth, clear your acne, lose weight, plastic surgery, etc. – do it for yourself.
