Let’s admit it, we all often go through life identifying things we don’t want and getting upset about it. Things we don’t like will often change our mood causing a measurable mood change into the negative realm. This is called Contrast and life is full of them. So, embrace contrast as your friend, not your enemy. It’s not going away.
In order for life to expand, there MUST be contrast. Besides, how do you know what you want without knowing what you don’t want? Know that you’re NOT doing something wrong by being in contrast. It’s not wrong to have a problem; it’s the path to the solution.
There is perfection in contrast. Contrast is what causes you to clarify your desire. As you clarify your desire, and then the Energy calls you toward that clarified desire, that’s what the true feeling of empowerment is, that’s where the true feeling of passion is.
When you understand the value of contrast then contrast doesn’t feel like negative emotion, it doesn’t feel like defeat – it feels like opportunity. It doesn’t feel like confusion, it feels like clarity. It doesn’t feel like something has gone wrong, it feels like everything is going right.
The whole reason that contrast exists is that it gives you desires. Because in having a desire, you have a reason to move in the direction of something. And it is the moving in the direction of something that is the living of life. It doesn’t matter how fast you get there or how long it takes you. It only matters that you’re moving in the direction of it.
Contrast sharpens your ability to focus. Contrast helps you to choose what you want. Contrast is your friend, not your enemy.
Teach yourself how to see contrast and say… I prefer this. I prefer this. I prefer this. I prefer this. I prefer this. I prefer this. More importantly, enjoy the contrast as you enjoy your great journey.
As you go through your day, make notes of the contrast that crossed your path and then during quiet time, change the contrast to what you prefer. Do this daily for 30 days and see the improvement your life takes.
Enjoying the contrast is easy to do,
