Is There Magic in Hypnosis?

loving-life-hypnotherapy-trust-the-magicAny good demonstration of hypnosis will clearly show that the point of power is in the present and that beliefs dictate experience.  Each of you utilize hypnosis constantly. It is only when particular procedures are assigned to it and when it is set aside from normal life does hypnotic suggestion seem intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people with a specialized knowledge or interest. Structured hypnosis merely allows the subject to utilize full powers of concentration thereby activating subconscious mechanisms.

So is there magic in hypnosis? I say no.  The magic is “you” as you are the one consciously and subconsciously creating your life in each moment and hypnosis is simply the method by which you choose to connect with your “true-self” and delve into the higher mysteries and magic that are All You.

There is No Value in Suffering

You don’t have to go the hard way to things, but you do have to go from wherever you are. If one good thing happens today and a hundred bad things, talk about that good thing a thousand times–and talk not about any of the bad things. Play the good-feeling things over and over in your mind–emphasize everything that feels good.

The Universe has understood the things you have been asking for and is answering perfectly. And if you won’t work to orchestrate the how and where and when, and who, but instead work to be in the receiving mode–as you practice rampages of appreciation, and as you collect fun things and beautiful things and use them to become an Ambassador of Well-Being — the things you have been asking for will unfold in a continuum of extraordinary life experience. Be a more selective sifter, and make lists of the positive things you are living. Look forward to where you want to be and spend no time complaining about where you are. The responsive Universe makes no distinction between the thoughts you think about your current reality and the thoughts you think as you dream of your improved life. You are creating by virtue of what you are thinking about, and so there is no advantage whatsoever to ponder, or remember, or observe or speak of things you do not want. Make your active vibration about what you do want—and notice how quickly your life changes to match your vibration.” ~ Abraham Hicks.

It’s true, this type of shifting behavior really does work.  No matter where you are, there are things to give gratitude for and gratitude is the beginning of shifting to the reality you desire.  Your circumstances do not dictate the reality you experience. Your state of being is what matters or materializes your experiences.  So change your state of being from that of complaining to one of gratitude, smile, and act out the life you desire and so deserve.

You could begin the day by asking and answering yourself out loud, “what do I love about where I am right now?”  Do this throughout the day every day and really put emotions behind your answers.  Before long, things will begin to move in the direction you want and you will soon find yourself in a place you want to be.
