Seth: Natural Hypnosis Exercise to Change Beliefs

In those areas in which you are dissatisfied, you feel that you are powerless, or that your will is paralyzed, or that conditions continue despite what you think of as your intent. Yet if you pay attention to your own quite conscious thoughts, you will find that you are concentrating upon precisely those negative aspects that so appall you. You are hypnotizing yourself quite effectively and so reinforcing the situation. You may say, horrified, ‘What can I do? I am hypnotizing myself into my overweight condition (or my loneliness, or my poor health).’ Yet in other facets of your life you may be hypnotizing yourself into wealth, accomplishment, satisfaction – and here you do not complain. The same issues are involved. The same principles are operating. In those positive life situations you are certain of your initiative. There is no doubt. Your beliefs become reality.

In the unsatisfactory aspects, you must understand this: there is also no doubt. You are utterly convinced that you are sick, or poor, or lonely, or spiritually opaque, or unhappy.

The results, then, as easily and effortlessly follow. Natural hypnosis, in the terms given here, operates as well in one case as in the other.

What should you do, then? First of all, you must realize that you are the hypnotist. You must seize the initiative here as you have in other positive aspects of your life. Whatever the superficial reasons for your beliefs, you must say:

For a certain amount of time I will momentarily suspend what I believe in this area, and willfully accept the belief I want. I will pretend that I am under hypnosis, with myself as hypnotist and subject. For that time desire and belief will be one. There will be no conflict because I do this willingly. For this period I will completely alter my old beliefs. Even though I sit quietly, in my mind I will act as if the belief I want were mine completely. At this point do not think of the future, but only of the present. If you are overweight, insert the weight that you think is ideal for you while you are following this exercise. Imagine that you are healthy if you have the belief that you are not. If you are lonely, believe that you are filled with the feeling of companionship instead. Realize that you are exerting your initiative to imagine such situations. Here there can be no comparison with your normal situation. Use visual data, or words – whatever is most natural to you. And again, no more than ten minutes is required.

If you do this faithfully, within a month you will find the new conditions materializing in your experience. Your neurological structure will respond automatically. The unconscious will be aroused, bringing its great powers to bear, bringing you the new results. Do not try to overdo this, to go through the entire day worrying about beliefs, for example. This can only cause you to contrast what you have with what you want. Forget the exercise when it is completed. You will find yourself with impulses that arrive in line with these newly inserted beliefs, and then it is up to you to act on these and not ignore them.Forget the exercise when it is completed. The initiative must be yours. You will never know unless you try the exercise. Now if you are in poor health, and have a physician, you had better continue going to him, because you still rely on that system of belief – but use these exercises as supplements to build up your own sense of inner health, and to protect you against any negative suggestions given by your doctor. Utilize the belief in physicians since you have it.

Are You Ready for 2018?

It seems 2017 will swiftly be over and oh how fast did it go!!  All those New Year’s Resolutions made – some achieved and others forgotten.  Where do you stand with your 2017 New Year’s Resolutions? Were you successful? Would you like to make those resolutions you gave up on your New Year’s Resolutions for 2018?  Why not? Discounting Your Feelings?

Most people at one time or another discount certain feelings based on inherent or taught beliefs. However, it is better to stop discounting your feelings and give them the attention they deserve. Hold on to those you feel you need and let go of the ones that no longer serve your best interest. Examine them as they are there to teach you something.  You have every right to feel the way you do. Your feelings may not always be logical, but they are always valid. Because if you feel something, then you feel it and it’s real to you. It’s not something you can ignore or wish away. In order to find peace, you have to give yourself permission to feel whatever it is you feel. You have to let go of what you’ve been told you “should” or “shouldn’t” feel. You have to drown out the voices of people who try to shame you into silence. You have to listen to the sound of your own breathing and honor the truth inside you. Because despite what you may believe, you don’t need anyone’s validation or approval to feel what you feel. Your feelings are inherently right and true. They’re important and they matter — you matter — and it is more than okay to feel what you feel. Don’t let anyone, including yourself, convince you otherwise. Just remember that feelings placed behind thought will manifest. ~Kathyann

Hope you are having a wonderful day so far.  It’s coffee time, at least for me.  If you are feeling like a great cup of coffee sounds good, pull yourself one and take a break. Relax and enjoy a dessert as well.

focus on positiveToday, we will discuss the fact that in a manner of speaking, we humans have been given a very special gift from Source.  All of our beliefs become reality. What we believe will become reality in our lives and we will experience it.
There is no area in our lives that this does not apply to. Beliefs pull in emotion and emotion is filled with feelings which therefore enhance the energy vibrations you emit. When your vibrations match a certain frequency, the belief will materialize.

So my advice to you is to work on believing in all positive things you can imagine. Do not focus on the negative, forget about it.  Negativity does not serve your well-being.  If you are generally a negative person, it will take time to change your beliefs but I encourage you to practice every day focusing on the good in all and positive outcomes and you will see a difference in your life soon.  It takes time to change negative habits but it is so necessary for a prosperous and peaceful life.

Autumn – Season of Gratitude by Ann Ramirez

It’s time to harvest our blessings!!

Giving Thanks and Letting Go…….

The harvest is in, the kitchen is full, and Autumn season is here.  It delights us with its beautiful warm colors of orange, green, gold, yellow and red.  Even as the weather cools, Mother Earth provides warmth in these beautiful colors that abound all around us.  

It is an important time of the year to meditate on all that God, the Universe, and Mother Earth has provided us and give great gratitude to them.  Even if life threw us many curve balls throughout the year, there were reasons for them and we need to learn to be grateful for the lessons associated with them.  We need to ask ourselves what lessons have we learned, what improvements could we make within ourselves and how to project the improvements out into the world.  

One good exercise we all can do is:

1.  Write the situations that occurred and the lessons associated with each on separate pieces of paper.

2.  Place them in a container and hold them up to God and give heartfelt thanks for them.

3.  Put the papers on fire and as they burn, acknowledge that you are releasing them back to the Universe for completion.  

4.  If you had circumstance occur that are unresolved, tell the Universe how you wish to resolve them and ask that your wish be honored.

5.  Once again, give thanks and remember that sincerity and emotions are vital to making your desires turn into reality.  In other words, if you are not sincere, grateful, or do not believe, God and the Universe will know, as they know all.

You are so worthy to bloom and sing like the Daffodils do!

We shall speak today on the topic of self-worth.  The importance of this cannot be over-stated.  Each of you has built a future constructed of dreams and desires which are your concepts of a better and happier life.  Most of you are wondering when you are going to see some evidence of these things in your lives.

Your realities, and we will point out that this means your illusions, are built around your beliefs of the possible.  This is the system as you have constructed it, and it is inviolable.  Therefore, in order to make a change in what you see, you need to make a change in what you believe.  This is not news to you at all.  What you may not have considered, and what has been used against you very effectively, is that if you believe you are unworthy or underserving of receiving your dreams, they may not occur.  That is ‘may not’ as in ‘they do not have permission’.

Concepts of guilt and sin have tied you down very effectively.  Likewise, placing intermediaries between yourselves and whatever your name for your Creator is, has immediately taken away your connection to your power.  Let us propose a new belief pattern for you which we suggest you look at closely and adopt as much as you are able.

Try these truths on for size.  I am the created son/daughter of the most powerful creative force in the universe.  I am created in His/Her likeness.  The Creator of my being is Love itself.  Creator’s love is unconditional.  Therefore the creator loves me unconditionally.  This means that, no matter what I have done in this life or any other, I am worthy and deserving of whatever will make my life and my world better.  Does this not ring true for you?  Of course it does.  You will need to take one tiny further step.  Forgive yourselves.  Ah!  Perhaps not so tiny for you?  We suggest you go inside and call a meeting.  Invite your Creator, your higher self, your soul, all those you feel you have hurt, and put yourself in one of those chairs also.  Now do a little Ho-o-pono-pono.  Tell everyone at that table, “I love you.  I’m sorry.  Please forgive me.  Thank you.”  Tell them sincerely, especially that self who is sitting there.  After this you should be able to say, feel, and believe, “I am worthy and deserving of all the best things for my life.”

Until the illusion collapses around you completely, and it will, we assure you that moving yourselves into a space of self-worth and self-love will change your lives totally, lifting the weight of countless years of hopelessness.  Now look at your dreams and desires, your hopes for the new world, with entirely new eyes.  Step forward with confidence into your new lives.
